Company profile for Content

Copy for agent Copied

The company profile is a short, factual description of the business behind a project. In the article wizard it appears as Brand input. PromptEye uses it when it prepares briefs and articles and when it evaluates how well your monitored prompts fit your business. It is separate from the documents in Knowledge: the profile is project-wide context, while documents are selected one by one as sources for an article.

You can open the profile in two places. Both edit the same project profile:

  • Knowledge → Company profile shows every field, a completeness card, and a link to Prompt Intelligence.
  • In the article wizard, the Knowledge step shows Brand input with a Fill or Edit action.

The profile has six fields: Industry, Product / service category, Target audience, Ideal customer profile (ICP), Operating area, and Company description. Each field has a short hint and an example. Edit one field at a time and save it. You need edit access to the project to change the profile; people with read-only access can view it.

When you set up your first project during onboarding, Auto-fill from website can fill these fields from your site. Review what it filled: website text can be incomplete or out of date. For other projects, fill the profile in yourself.

Use concrete, stable facts that apply to the whole project: what you sell, who it is for, where you operate, and what sets you apart. Avoid slogans, temporary campaign claims, and instructions for one article. Put article-specific instructions in the brief or in the optional editorial guidelines instead.

The completeness card shows how many fields are filled and lets you jump to an empty one. An incomplete profile never blocks article generation, but empty fields give the writer less to work with.

Saving changes the profile for the whole project, not only the article you are working on. Later briefs and articles use the new text. A brief that was already prepared keeps the profile it was created with.

A bigger change, such as a new product line, market, or audience, also affects how PromptEye evaluates the fit of your monitored prompts. After such an edit, review your prompts in Prompt Intelligence.

No. It is used only inside PromptEye. It does not change your website.

Is the profile the same as a Knowledge document?

Section titled “Is the profile the same as a Knowledge document?”

No. Documents are uploaded files, pasted text, or imported pages that you select for a specific article. The profile is always available as Brand input for every article in the project. See Company knowledge and document sources.

Can the profile be generated automatically again?

Section titled “Can the profile be generated automatically again?”

Auto-fill from the website is offered when you set up your first project. After that, edit the fields yourself.

Yes. The profile belongs to the project, so every new brief in the project uses the current version.
